Hyderabad: Waqf Board has intervened to stop unauthorised constructions at Waqf land of Toli Masjid, Karwan. According to sources, on continuing unauthorised constructions at Toli Masjid Waqf land by a private ITI firm, the administrative committee and the locals made written representation with the Waqf Board Chairman, Mohammed Saleem.
The Waqf board Chairman sent a team of officials which directed to stop construction immediately. Later Waqf Board officials lodged a complaint with the police station.
Despite status quo orders by High Court and Waqf Tribunal, the private ITI firm continued construction activities. Graveyard is desecrated by constructing compound wall.
