While the municipal corporation claims the ownership of the land, locals and descendants of Abdullah Khan declare it graveyard land.

Commotion was witnessed during team’s visit to graveyard and shops. A large number of women also opposed municipality’s claim on graveyard. Keeping in view the situation the team decided to hear the matter in local Darul Uloom where representations and supportive documents were collected from all parties. Welfare Party of India, Aam Aadmi Party and other social workers submitted documental evidences in favour of graveyard. Waqf board officials told that the team that as per their record, 3111 sqyds land belongs to graveyard.
