Warangal on top Hyderabad on Bottom in SSC Results

Much awaited Telangana’s Secondary School Certificate (SSC) or Class 10 results have been released by Kadiyam Srihari, Deputy Chief Minister here in State Secretariat today.

Addressing the Media, Srihari said 85.63% of candidates cleared the exams out of 5, 55,265, there is 8% improvement in the results by last year.

There were 2,379 schools which secured 100% result, and the Girls leading the results with 86.57% whereas boys stood at 84.70%, he said.

The exam conducted in the month of March and 4, 44,828 regular students cleared the test out of which 5, 19,494 regular students were appeared. The Backward Class Welfare Residential Schools (BCWRS) topped the results with 96.84%. Srihari said.

Warangal secured top position with 95.13 pass percentage while Hyderabad stands in last in the queue with 76.23. The district-wise pass percentage are: Medak 90.74%, Nizamabad 90.04%, Karimnagar 86.40%, Khammam 84.63%, Nalgonda 83.75%, Adilabad 83%, Rangareddy 80.07%. Advanced Supplement Exam:

Advanced supplementary exam will be conducted from June 15, the last date to register is May 26, he said. (NSS)
