New Delhi: It was a warm, humid Friday morning here with the minimum temperature recorded at 28.4 degrees Celsius, normal for the season’s average.
Met has forecast a partly cloudy day ahead with possibilities of rain.
According to the weather office, the maximum temperature is likely to hover around 40 degrees Celsius.
“It was a warm, humid morning. The sky is likely to turn partly cloudy towards the afternoon. There are possibilities of rain too,” said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
According to the official, the humidity at 8.30 a.m was 54 per cent.
Thursday was hot and humid with the maximum temperature settled at 41.1 degree Celsius, two notches above the season’s average while the minimum temperature was recorded at 30.4 degree Celsius, three notches above the season’s average.
