A 10-year-old boy from Indonesia has gained 190 kgs, which is not normal for a child of his frame. Ayra’s parents got alerted when even after eating five meals a day of rice, noodles and meat, he remained hungry.

Doctors diagnosed Ayra’s condition and put him on a strict diet, but that was in vain as he just won’t lose weight. They finally performed a surgery to cut the size of his stomach which reduced 16 kg and he has lost another 2 kg afterwards.

Ayra’s weight reached up to a level where he could not stand and leaving him to stay home all day bathing in the pool since walking to school was impossible for him nor his parents could find clothes that fit him.

Doctors now feel that in a year he will be less than 100 kg, as his appetite will decrease with the reduction in hunger hormone levels.
