WFI suspends 15 junior grapplers for one year citing `indiscipline`

New Delhi: The Wrestling Federation of India has suspended 15 junior grapplers for a year over disciplinary grounds.

Confirming the news, WFI assistant secretary Vinod Tomar told ANI that coaches informed them that wrestlers were not disciplined before the president took the final call.

Tomar further said that these wrestlers were served showcause notice on Thursday, adding that the punishment would send the message that the federation has stern rules. (ANI)
