Will discuss issues in Monsoon session: Harish

Legislature  Affairs Minister T Harish Rao today said that the Government is ready to discuss the key issues in the  Monsoon session.

Talking to media persons after the special session ratifying the GST Bill ended, at the Assembly premises,  he said that the  BAC has  decided to conduct the house for about 10 to 12 days from Sept 20. The government is not shying away  from  discussing  the issues with the opposition parties in the house by giving adequate time to them,  he said. However he ridiculed the Congress leaders for talking about input subsidy. During their regime, the Congress leaders ignored to compensate the victims of Neelam cyclone in the state,  he said. They have no right to speak  in this regard as injustice was  meted out to the farmers during the previous government,  he said. He fumed at the Opposition for trying to spike the irrigation projects. The Congress and the TDP should refrain from making adverse comments of corruption in the irrigation sector,  he suggested.(NSS)
