Will revive Nizam Sugar Factory: TRS

Hyderabad: TRS MP K. Kavitha lashed out at the TD and Congress governments for neglecting sugarcane farmers and closing down the Nizam Sugar Factory.

Speaking to media persons here on Thursday, accused then TD government led by Chandrababu Naidu saying that it showed the profit making unit as a sick unit and handed it to a private government. She said that the TRS government would take over the Nizam Sugar Factory and would hand over to the farmers. She said that the TRS government believed in promoting cooperative societies and would strengthen the NSF. “The Nizam Sugar Factory will be reopened at any cost to bring back its past glory”, the TRS MP has said.

Regarding special status to AP, the TRS MP said that their party had no objection to the AP’s demand and said that it was the responsibility of the Centre to fulfill the promises made during the state bifurcation.

On a question regarding the cash for vote case, the TRS leader said that the ACB would deal the issue as per law. Nizamabad MP said that the reorganisation of district was being done scientifically and that the process would be taken forward only after taking the views of all stakeholders on the issue. (INN)
