Will we really make `love with robots` by 2050?

Melbourne, Sept. 30 : Technology is now competing really well with every possible sexual desire, as Love and Sex and Robots author David Levy has claimed that sex with robots will become a reality by 2050.

The Intelligent Toys Limited CEO asserted that people will always find it appealing if one has got a robot that looks like a human, feels like a human, behaves like a human and talks like a human, News.com.au reports.

Levy said if there was a sophisticated sex robot around now, then he would be very curious to try it.

Meanwhile real life technological advances like David Hanson’s human robots or Hiroshi Ishiguro’s version have been making robots look more life like by the year. Several versions of robotic sex dolls already exist, including RealDoll made by the Californian company Abyss.

An absolutely convinced Levy concluded that sex with robots is a positive thing for “millions and millions” of people around the world who don’t have satisfactory relationships. (ANI)
