The maverick director Rajkumar Hirani’s next venture Sanjay Dutt’s biopic is creating lots of excitement. Recently superstar Aamir Khan has been approached to play none other than Sunil Dutt in the biopic where Ranbir Kapoor is going to play Sanju on screen.
Now in the new addition to the cast of the movie Sanju’s good friend, Salman Khan is going to be a part of this biopic but it is not clear whether Salman will play himself in the movie or essay any character.
Recently Ranbir surprised his fans with his new avatar with a faux greying beard, handlebar moustache, a scanty hairdo and a tika on his forehead. He will be seen sporting six, totally different looks in Dutt that will highlight different phases in Sanjay Dutt’s life from his early days right up to his release from the Yerwada prison.
The 34-year- old actor is truly going the extra mile for this biopic. He has also worked on his physique to resemble Dutt and will sport the same tattoos as Sanjay in the film. Ranbir has adopted Dutt’s unique strut for the film by watching almost 200 hours of footage, and is even sporting a wig to properly resemble the actor’s iconic 90’s mane.
Sanjay’s earlier co-stars, Manisha Koirala has been roped in to play Dutt’s mother Nargis. The film is slated for a December 2017 release.
