Winter session of AP Legislature likely in permanent capital

AP Legislative Assembly Speaker K Siva Prasad, who held a meeting with officials on the issue today, directed that temporary legislature buildings be constructed in the capital city area, a release from his media-liaison officer said.

He said the construction of temporary buildings should be taken up on a war-footing as time is short for the winter session, to be held in December.

The administration should not compromise on quality and provision of facilities in the buildings, yet without being extravagant, the release added.

Andhra Pradesh presently shares the legislature buildings in (the common capital for ten years) withpost-bifurcation last year.
