Woman with 4.5 kg gold held at RGIA


The Customs officials detained a woman and seized a huge quantity of gold at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport at Shamshabad this morning.

The police are reportedly interrogating the woman for smuggling gold. The woman arrived here from Bangkok. As usual, the Customs officials conducted a checking and found that she was having gold biscuits around her waist. The Customs officials said the seized gold weighs about 4.5 kg. She was identified as Susheela of Kadapa in Andhra Pradesh. (NSS)
