HYDERABAD: Fed up with the daily harassment for more dowry by husband, a pregnant woman committed suicide.
According to police sources, the woman got married to Shaker, a resident of Adibatla, Ranga Reddy district about eight years back. Husband started harassing her a few days after the marriage.
The pregnant woman was the victim of continuous mentally and physically assault. He even threaten her that if she didn’t bring more dowry, he will harm their unborn child.
Fed up with this she resorted to the extreme step and committed suicide.
Police has registered a case and investigations are on.
