Mumbai: Nasrin Jahan Sheik (24) committed suicide just an hour after her husband, Javed (26) died at a local civic hospital on Tuesday afternoon in Malwani. Her husband lost the battle against blood cancer which was detected two months after their marriage. Nasrin and Javed got marriage just six months ago. Nasrin and Javed’s marriage was a love marriage. Nasrin Jahan Sheikh committed suicide at her mother’s residence by hanging from the ceiling.
Javed was diagnosed with stage IV (most advanced) blood cancer when he undertakes a blood test after severe stomachache and failing health.
After finding Nasrin hanging from ceiling, his brother rushed Nasrin to Bharatratna Babasaheb Ambedkar Municipal General Hospital where she was declared dead on arrival. Police registered a case and is investigating it further.
Meanwhile Nasrin will be buried at the same cemetery where Javed was buried on Tuesday.
