Gurdaspur: A 45-year-old woman was found murdered at her residence in Basrawan village of Batala, police said today.
Ranjit Kaur, a farmer, was last night sleeping on the terrace of her house when unidentified persons attacked her with a heavy stone, SHO of Qadian police station Lalit Kumar said.
She was alone at home when the miscreants attacked her.
The Police have registered a murder case against unidentified assailants. A probe is underway in the matter.
