Yatra.Com launches 40,000 world class experiential activities

New Delhi: Online travel solutions provider portal Yatra.Com has launched a comprehensive collection of around 40,000 world class experiential activities, designed by professionals, across over 1,600 cities as it seeks to expand its offerings and widen customers base. Priced between Rs 2,000-40,000, these activities comprise of extreme adventure, events, ultra-luxury and romantic experiences, food trails and an exhaustive list of workshops for various hobbies and interests for every traveller, the travel portal said in a release today. In addition, Yatra has introduced luxury outdoor activities like desert safari, helicopter rides, exotic car and cruise rides, among others, it said.

As a part of this offering, Yatra will showcase close to 1,000 activities in 57 domestic cities and over 39,000 in 1,545 international cities, the release added. “Travellers are evolving and seeking a wider range of local experiences as a part of their travels. Launching such activities is a step towards meeting these needs by expanding the experiential activities category at Yatra. We are confident that these will add an enthralling element to our customers’ travel plans,” Yatra.Com President Sharat Dhall said.

Lat year, Yatra along with Snow Leopard Adventure portal Adventure Nation, the release said adding this year it has partnered with Travel Logs, a company that curates experiences, to bring out the finer aspects of travel across India. Covering both the metros and tourist destinations, activities are available domestically in cities such as New Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, Mumbai, Kolkata. Among others while internationally the cities covered include Amsterdam, New York, Athens, Barcelona, Paris, Bali, Rome, Las Vegas, Tokyo, Singapore, among others. Yatra has introduced an array of options for paragliding, snorkelling, mountain biking, trekking, kayaking which are the most popular adventure activities for its customers besides luxury outdoor activities, the release added.
