Yoga should not be linked with religion: Sanjeev Baliyan

New Delhi: While hailing the Uttar Pradesh Government’s decision to include yoga in the curriculum of government schools across the state, Union Minister Sanjeev Baliyan on Saturday said the ancient Indian exercise should not be linked with religion.

Baliyan expressed his happiness over children performing yoga, which is good for health.

“It is good. Yoga should not be linked with religion. The entire world has started adopting Yoga since Prime Minister Modi took initiative. Yoga is good for health also. So, nobody should have problem with it. What can be better than children doing Yoga,” Baliyan told ANI.
