Hyderabad: Commissioner of Police M Mahender Reddy has transferred Detective Sub-Inspector Charminar, Raja Reddy and Constable Kareem to the head quarter with immediate effect, in connection with the suicide case in which a youth committed suicide due to alleged police harassment.
It must be recalled that Khaja Hasanullah Khan, R/O Chattabazar was being harassed by the crime staff of Charminar police in the name of interrogation in connection with motor cycle stealing case. Dejected over this the youth committed suicide.
Commissioner of police took action after receiving primary investigation report. A case was registered under Mirchowk police station under Section 306 of the IPC (abetment of suicide).
It is believed that Saudi resident Hameed will be made accused in the case. During police investigation it was found that the deceased was innocent.
