YSR Congress alleged that Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu was responsible for AP not getting the SCS tag.
Party spokesperson Ambati Rambabu told reporters that the TDP government did not do its work for getting the SCS to the state. CM Naidu and the BJP colluded in denying AP its right of special tag. Is Naidu not aware of the thing that Modi government had for AP. As an alliance partner, Naidu should have spoke to Modi and should have ensured that the state got the SCS tag, Ambati said.
Meanwhile, YSRC chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy appealed to the people of Andhra Pradesh to participate in the state-wide bandh on August 2. He called upon the trade unions, associations, to come forward to make the bandh aimed at forcing the Centre to grant SCS to AP a grand success. (INN)
