YSRCP changes strategy, admits Murli Krishna of INC

Hyderabad:  While YSR Congress Party MLAs were quitting party and joining the ruling TDP in Andhra Pradesh, now the YSRCP is trying to trap senior district level leaders belonging different parties.

Former MLA Murli Krishna of Kodumuru constituency in Kurnool district today joined YSRCP in the presence of party supremo and Leader of the Opposition Y S Jaganmohan Reddy. Jagan welcomed Murli Krishna by putting  a party scarf. Murli Krishna had won Kodumuru seat on Congress ticket in 2009 elections by defeating Mani Gandhi, who recently joined TDP. However, Mani Gandhi won this seat in 2014 on YSRCP ticket and joined the TDP now. Kodumuru is a reserved SC seat. It was the citadel of Congress and later YSRCP. Mani Gandhi won the seat in 2014 on YSRCP ticket.

Jaganmohan Reddy, after returning from New Delhi, has changed his strategy of self-defense  and trying to trap senior district leaders of TDP in Andhra Pradesh. (NSS)
