YSRCP flays TDP on Palamur works

Hyderabad: YSRCP leader Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy today accused some benamis of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu have got the contract works related to Palamur lift project in Mahbubnagar.

Talking to mediapersons at Lotus Pond here on Saturday, Peddireddy alleged that Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu amassed wealth in politics by swindling public money and using helicopters of Navayuga, he charged. “However, we the YSRCP leaders did not know such things”, he said. He also condemned the comments of Andhra Pradesh Irrigation Minister Devineni Umamaheshwar Rao that the YSRCP leaders took Palamur project works at the behest of Jaganmohan Reddy.

Peddireddy also alleged that Uma was just indulging in blame game and talking lies against the Opposition party. “We have just given JV proposals to Navayuga and not doing works”, he said. However Ramachandra Reddy admitted that they are continuing the works related to Pranahita Chevella project taken in 2008. He also alleged that though his followers of Navayuga Construction Company had taken such contracts, Chief Miniser Chandrababu Naidu was trying to misguide the people.

The YSRCP leader also slammed the TRS Government for handing over the Palamur project works to the henchmen of Chandrababu Naidu. The YSRCP leader also lashed out at the TDP supremo for entrusting many such contracts to Nama Nageshwar Rao, CM Ramesh and others. Reddy said that they are taken up contracts including road works at home constituency of Chandrababu and in foreign countries too. (NSS)
