HYDERABAD: All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) President and Member of Parliament Asaduddin Owaisi’s consistent remarks that though he respects the Supreme Court he does not agree with its judgement on Babri Masjid-Ram Janambhoomi dispute have been generating angry response from numerous citizens.
His demand for reconstruction of Babri Masjid at the same site at it stood before December 6, 1992 is also being panned by Netizens.
On Friday, Owaisi took to his official Twitter handle and wrote, “I want my masjid back.”
For this, Owaisi is being burnt on the internet. Numerous tweets have been writing demanding him to leave India.
Hashtag #OwaisiBharatChhodo, has generated over 30,000 tweets by 3-00 pm on Saturday.

The Hyderabad MP in an interview with Outlook, said, “For me, the Constitution is supreme and it gives me the right to disagree respectfully with any SC judgment. I will oppose anything that is against the Constitution,” he said.
He further said, “Our fight was not for a piece of land. It was to ensure that my legal rights are realised. The SC [Supreme Court] also categorically said that no temple was demolished to construct a mosque. I want my masjid back.”
The Supreme Court on November 9 directed the Central government to hand over the disputed site at Ayodhya for the construction of a temple and set up a trust for this.
The apex court further directed the government to give a suitable plot of land measuring five acres to the Sunni Waqf Board to build a “prominent” new mosque.
