’15 min’ remark of Akbaruddin Owaisi: Police comes to conclusion

Hyderabad: Mr. Akbaruddin Owaisi, MIM MLA representing Chandrayangutta Assembly Constituency on Tuesday said, “People scare those who get scared easily and are scared of those who know how to scare them. Why do they (RSS) hate me? It is because they have not been able to overcome the ’15 minutes’ statement made by me.”

After this statement, Bajrang Dal and Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) lodged a police complaint against him in Sultan Bazar Police Station for allegedly instigating Hindus and Muslims.

According to the report published in Telangana Today, on Saturday, Karimnagar Police came to a conclusion that MLA’s speech does not contain any offensive or hostile or inciting content.

It may be mentioned that on Friday, Mr. Akbaruddin Owaisi had also issued clarification. The MLA had said that he did not give any offensive or illegal statement nor did he hurt the feelings of any community.
