New Delhi: In a shocking incident a 90-year-old visually impaired woman was raped by a 25-year-old after he found her alone at her home in Bharatpur.
The incident occurred on Friday when the accused Dalbir Gujjar in an intoxicated state barged inside the woman’s house and raped her, India today reports.
The victim sustained injuries on her private parts that has caused excessive bleeding and the incident came to light when the victim narrated the sexual assault to her daughter-in-law who returned in the evening.
The daughter-in-law informed about the incident to a few locals who approached the police to register a complaint against the accused.
According to reports, Deepak Ojha, SHO, Bayana police station said Dalbir confessed to the crime during interrogation and that the crime was motiveless and it was just a psychopathic tendency when he found her alone.
The SHO said, ” The woman is a widow and had lost her vision due to old age. She was also suffering from other age-related ailments due to which she was already weak.
