Hyderabad: Abid Ali Khan, noted shooter from Hyderabad bagged a bronze medal in the 14th Asian Championship shooting held at Doha, Qatar.
Malik Bhaskar (17) who is the member of 41 member Indian Team got a gold medal and was qualified to enter the Olympics.
It may be noted that Master Abid Ali Khan is the grandson of Dr. Shahid Ali Khan, Director of Cure Well Hospital. Master Abid Ali Khan’s father, Dr. Saber Ali Khan is also a national shooter.
His grandfather, Dr. Shahid Ali Khan is the son of the founder of Siasat Urdu Daily, late Mr. Abid Ali Khan and brother of Mr. Zahid Ali Khan, Editor of Siasat Urdu Daily.
