After China, US teen criticises CAA in viral skincare video

NEW DELHI: Remember US teen of Afghan origin, Feroza Azizwho went viral a month ago with her unconventional TikTok ‘makeup tutorial’ condemning China’s crackdown on Uighur Muslims in Xinjiang.

This 17-year-old Human Rights activist is back with a new video on her skincare routine in which she criticizes India’s Citizenship Amendment Act.

She shared the video on Instagram and Twitter on December 24 with the caption, “Love this new skin care routine I found! #CAB #spreadawareness”.

In the video, New Jersey resident speaks against CAB by pointing , “This bill is disgusting, and a violation of human rights. It’s immoral and wrong. Religion does not make you any less or any more of an Indian. This bill spreads hate and does not care about its own people,” she says.

“People are protesting as we speak, but they are being fought for doing so. Police brutality is at a high, and it’s only getting worse. Please spread awareness, do not keep silent on this issue,” Aziz adds in her Instagram post. 

The skin care routine clip had reached far more people on Instagram, with versions of the same video receiving more than 4,000 retweets and 11,938 Likes on Twitter.

Feroza’s video is being praised by netizens.
