Mumbai: Mr. Ajaz Khan who contested from Byculla Assembly Constituency shared video message after losing the election.
Mr. Khan said that despite a short campaign of five days, he managed to win more than 2000 votes which cannot be neglected.
He also alleged that in order to fight for the MLA seat, one needs to spend Rs. 5-7 crore. As he cannot spend so much money, he failed to hire needed manpower for the election, Mr. Khan added
In the video, the actor turned politician also shared his phone number and asked people to call if anyone needs his help to get justice.
It may be mentioned that Ajaz Khan wanted to contest from Mumbra Assembly Constituency on AIMIM ticket but when he failed to get the ticket from the party, he decided to contest from Byculla Assembly Constituency as an independent candidate.
It may be noted that Shiv Sena’s candidate won the Byculla Assembly seat.
