Hyderabad: The Telangana Government has directed all the departments to submit budgetary proposals by January 11. The Government was busy preparing the State budget for 2019 financial year.
The Finance department has begun the process of budgetary preparations for all the departments. As per directive of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, the State government sought detailed budgetary proposals from all the departments. Chief Secretary SK Joshi reportedly directed the Secretaries and Heads of Departments to provide budgetary proposals expeditiously.
All the departments were instructed to give complete details of the budget allocations online. The government will take suggestions and opinions from the departments by January 18. The Finance wing has asked the departments to send amendments to budget proposals for 2018-19 year and budget estimates for 2019-20 financial year.
