Alleged mass scale corruption in Secretariat, CM gets irritated

Hyderabad: In the wake of a few officials who were reportedly caught red-handed while taking bribe, Govt. of TS has decided to take stern action. There are reports that ACB is having a close watch on Secretariat employees

It is reported that Asst. Section Officers, Section officers, Asst. Secretaries, Dy. Secretaries and Joint Secretaries (non-cadre) were allegedly found to be involved in corruption. After getting videos of such incidents, CM has taken tough action. It is also reported that more than 150 employees and officials possess lands worth crores of rupees at the outskirts of Hyderabad City. They have also invested money in various MNCs.

In view of these reports, CM has instructed ACB to collect details of assets and properties of Secretariat employees.

It may be recalled that a few days back, a Section Officer of Panchayat Raj Dept. was caught red-handed while taking bribe.

It may be mentioned that after the formation of Telangana State, Mr. KCR concentrated on employee-friendly administration but he got irritated when he received information that employees are misusing it.

ACB has already collected information about assets and properties of more than 150 Secretariat employees.
