Alwar: Akbar Khan and Omar Khan were killed in mob lynching at Alwar. Their sons did not get disappointed with the killings of their fathers.
In sport competitions, they won medals at the district level which is a slap on the forces which spread hatred.
Lynching incidents
It may be mentioned that Omar Khan was killed in November 2017 for allegedly carrying prohibited cattle whereas, Akbar Khan was killed in July 2018 in a mob lynching incident.
The children of these victims who are studying at Chacha Nehru School in Alwar are being helped by the former students of AMU.
Ms. Salma Ansari, wife of former Vice President of India, Mr. Hamid Ansari runs this school wherein, the children of mob lynching victims are getting education.
Various competitions
The principal of the school, Mr. Mohammed Rashid told that besides Islamic Education, Hindi and English are also taught. He further told that the sons of Akbar and Omar participated in boxing, karate and carom competition at district level. After winning medals in boxing at provincial level, these students are preparing for national level competition. Mr. Amer Manto, a student of AMU told that he helps students whose parents suffered due to mob lynching. By providing good atmosphere, an attempt is being made to erase the memories of the murders of their fathers.
