Analyse defeat, not lame ducks: Danam tells Uttam

Hyderabad: TRS MLA from Khairatabad segment and former minister Danam Nagender today said TPCC Chief N Utham Kumar Reddy failed to keep his promise that he would not return to Gandhi Bhavan if the Congress faced defeat in the Assembly polls. Utham shows lame ducks of EVMs tampering in the polls instead introspect the reasons behind the party defeat, he said.

Talking to mediapersons here today, the former minister said the Congress leaders have failed to analyse the reasons for the serious debacle in the recent Assembly polls and making false comments. He also said the Congress leaders have no moral right to talk about quota for Backward Classes, he said. Nagender clarified that the State government was only implementing the court directive on the reservations not to go beyond 50 per cent. The Congress leaders were meaninglessly making false charges on the government, he said. He also ridiculed that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu was trying to meddle in our issues. Though the Telangana leaders did not talk about him, Naidu himself was talking about us, he said. He took exception to Naidu’s comments on KCR’s Federal Front and sought to know what clarity he wants on it.
