Andhra data theft: CM Naidu equates Jaganmohan Reddy with Dawood Ibrahim

Amaravati (Andhra Pradesh): Equating YSRCP chief Jaganmohan Reddy with underworld don Dawood Ibrahim, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday said YSRCP is run by Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) president K Chandrasekhar Rao as Reddy is nowhere visible but afraid of him.

Naidu said: “The YSRCP is run by KCR. He is sending money, people and he is lodging cases against the Telugu Desam Party (TDP). They don’t have confidence in Jaganmohan Reddy. They doubt his capability. Generally, Dawood Ibrahim is nowhere visible. You cannot find him but everybody is afraid of him. That is the case of Jaganmohan Reddy today.”

Naidu’s statement comes after the Hyderabad Police claimed to have found data related to the state in its investigation into the alleged data theft by IT Grids India Pvt Ltd, the software company which had developed ‘Sevamitra’ app for Naidu-led TDP to collect voter data at the polling-booth level.

Chief Minister Naidu has claimed that this was done after YSRCP leader Vijay Sai Reddy had lodged a complaint with the police in this regard. Reddy had also accused the opposition parties of stealing data.
