AP 24X7 News Channel Director arrested in Cheating Case

Hyderabad: The Police CCS, DD, arrested the accused Sriramdas Chandrasekhar, Editorial Director in AP 24X7 News Channel, who is involved in cheating case and cheated the complainant company M/s APR News Media Ltd by collecting an amount of Rs. 1,15,5000 on the pretext of supply of technical equipment.

The Deputy Commissioner of Police, Detective Department, said in a press note that the accused Chandra Sekhar approached the complainant Abram Pedda Ramaiah Yadav MD of M/s APR News Media Ltd, that they know technical equipment supplier B. Shankar MD of M/s Omega Media Solutions, Kolkata based company, to run the electronic media and was entered into MOU.

Chandra Sekhar was arrested today and produced before the Court for Judicial custody. The arrest was made under the supervision of G. Jogaiah, Addl. DCP, EOW CCS, DD, and G. Venkateswarlu, ACP, F-Division, CCS, DD.
