Are agricultural graduates more in demand? Here’s what VC says

Hyderabad: Dr. V. Praveen Rao, Vice Chancellor of Jaya Shankar Telangana State Agricultural University, Rajendranagar formally inaugurated combined counseling for admissions into agriculture, veterinary and horticulture UG courses.

Addressing on this occasion, he highlighted the importance of agricultural courses and said that opportunities for these graduates are on the increase. Referring to a survey conducted by an international organization recently, he said that in the next 10 years, India will need more than one lakh agricultural graduates.

He also tendered useful advice to parents and guardians and informed about the opportunities available for agriculture and veterinary graduates.
