Odisha: Remember the unwitting who had got caught after trying to smuggle in 988.820 kgs cannabis into Berhampur in Odisha. The Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC) busted an inter-state drug cartel trying to sneak in the narcotic on Tuesday.
Modus Operandi: Based on specific intelligence a team of officers of DRI, Bhubaneswar Regional Unit intercepted a Tata Truck on NH -16, near Berhampur on September 2 at around 13.30 Hrs. The police have recovered 988.820 kgs of Ganja values Rs 1, 48, 32,300, Truck values Rs 7, 49,000 was concealed along with onions in the vehicle. Two persons have been arrested by the police.
