Ayodhya verdict should be honoured: Muslim leaders

New Delhi: Many office bearers of various Muslim organizations, noted Muslim scholars and intellectuals convened a meeting in New Delhi on Saturday. They told that the verdict on Ayodhya Case should be honoured.

The meeting was conducted in closed room by the President of All India Muslim Majlis-e-Mushawarat, Mr. Naveed Hamid.

The participants of the meeting revolved to maintain peace after it is pronounced.

The leaders who attended the meeting were Maulana Arshad Madani, President f Jamiat-ul-Ulema, Mr. Wajahat Habibullah, former Chairman of National Commission for Minorities, Mr. Shahid Siddiqui, former MP, Mr. Saadavtullah Husaini, President of Jamat-e-Islami, Dr. Javeed and Imran Hasan (Parliamentarians).

In a resolution passed in the meeting, it was resolved that there should be a positive reaction on the verdict in the context of cumulative national development.

The resolution states, ‘we appeal to all the citizens of the country to face any situation’ with patience and to refrain from any kind of incitement. We also appeal to maintain pace and hope.
