Balayya celebrates birthday in cancer hospital

Hyderabad: Actor, MLA, and chairman of Basavatarakam Indo-American Cancer Hospital Nandamuri Balakrishna celebrated his 59th Birthday amidst children fighting with cancer on the premises of the hospital at Banjara Hills.

After reaching cancer hospital, Balakrishna paid homage to his father TDP founder and former chief minister late Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao and his mother late Nandamuri Basavatarakam by garlanding their statues. Later he participated in a cake cutting event organized by his fans along with children fighting with cancer in the hospital. He shared the cake with the children and others.
Speaking on the occasion, Balakrishna appreciated efforts of his fans, who were standing in the forefront to help the society by organizing several social service activities. He also announced that a new facility will come up at Amaravathi in 15 acres allotted by the Andhra Pradesh Government. Later, he distributed fruits to children along with hospital employees.
