Bengaluru: Four Ministers in the BS Yediyurappa Cabinet are from Bengaluru giving the capital the lion’s share of berths.
Out of the 17 new Ministers inducted in Yediyurappa Cabinet, all the four Ministers are senior MLAs leaving one Minister is a six-time MLA, TOI reports.
R Ashoka from Padmanabhanagar, S Suresh Kumar from Rajajinagar, V Somanna from Govindarajanagar and Dr CN Ashwathnarayana from Malleswaram are the four cabinet ministers.
Suresh Kumar and Somanna have been elected five times and Ashwath for the third time.
With these four ministers, BJP is now eyeing an upper hand in the BBMP Council.
