Jaipur: A couple involved in an illicit relationship committed suicide by shooting themselves in Rajasthan’s Barmer district.
Pictures and videos of the same have now emerged on social media on Thursday.
Sources said the deceased have been identified as Anju Suthar and Shamkar Chaudhary, both aged around 21-year-old where in Anju had only recently married a few months ago and was in an illicit relationship with Shamkar.
Though the case seems to be a suicide pact the Police are waiting for the post mortem report to confirm the cause of death.
The bodies were found near a cremation ground falling under Chohtan PS were two country-made pistols were also recovered from the crime spot.
No suicide note has been found said Superintendent of police (SP) of Barmer, Rashi Dogra but he did say an audio clip was found in of their cell phones which suggests they took the extreme step because of “failing in love”
