Big companies keen on setting up units in State: KTR

Hyderabad: Minister for IT & Industry KT Rama Rao has said several major companies were keen on setting up their operations in the Telangana.
He made this comment at a review meeting held with HoDs of IT and Industries departments here today.

In the meeting, the officials informed that several companies, which approached the Telangana government have already received approvals and will be laying foundation stones in the coming months. The minister instructed the officials to provide all possible assistance to the companies, which are coming forward to invest in Telangana. “The new companies coming into the state will generate more employment opportunities for the locals,” he added.


The minister enquired about the work progress of Industrial parks, which are being set up in Telangana. He asked the HoDs of each department to submit a detailed report on the development works and further plans to be implemented in the coming four years.


IT & Industries Department Principal Secretary Jayesh Ranjan, Handlooms & Textiles Director Shailaja Ramaiyer, TSIIC MD EV Narasimha Reddy, ESD Commissioner GT Venkateshwar Rao, participated in the meeting.
