BJP secured power in Karnataka, will also power in Telangana

Hyderabad: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National General Secretary and Karnataka in-charge P Muralidhar Rao on Tuesday said that the party has secured power in Karnataka and it would also secure power in Telangana.



Speaking at the Vijayotsav Meeting , organized by the BJP at the party state headquarter here in connection with Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa had proved its majority  in the Assembly on Monday, Mr Rao said that  the winning of trust vote in Karnataka Assembly by the Chief Minister Yediyurappa has proved its growing strength in South India. ” 



Mr Rao alleged that even though the Assembly Speaker K R Ramesh Kumar had  proceed undemocratic way, the BJP  maintained  calm and  secured power in a democratic way while winning the confidence of the people of Karnataka.



Stating that the coalition government led by Congress and JD(S) in Karnataka collapsed on its own, he said the BJP government would complete its full term in Karnataka.



Mr Rao asserted that  BJP has sufficient majority and there was no need to take the help of the Congress and JD(S) members.



He affirmed that the Yediurappa led-government would take necessary steps to resolve the problems of the farmers and  the development of the Karnataka state.

Mr Muralidhar Rao said that the BJP was alternative in Telangana.  The opposition Congress does not have its strength to face TRS. “  BJP will act a real opposition and appose anti-people policies of TRS government in all aspects”, he said.

He said that the soule of intermediate students who committed suicide due to examination results goof-ups and their parents  are still questioning the TRS Government’s failure.

Speaking on New Municipal Act Bill passed in Assembly recently,  Mr Rao said that the BJP had met Governor ESL Narasimhan and appraised  him about  errors of the Bill. Likely the Governor rejected the Bill, he said.  He alleged that the New Municipal Act Bill was against the 73 and 74th Constitution amendment and the Governor also sent back the Bill

To divert the peoples’mind  the state government has stated that an Ordinance will be  issued by incorporating Governor’s suggestions, he said and questioned where is the Ordinance.  “ So the BJP will question in streets, campuses, Courts and Legislative Institutions when ever TRS Government adopts anti-people polices” , Mr Rao said.

Stating several people who were playing major role in all the political parties  are look in BJP, Mr Rao said BJP has bright future in Telangana.

Mr Rao also thanked all the BJP leaders of Telangana who had extended their support during Karnataka election.

He further said that  in coming days BJP will keep TRS on its toes .Whether it is the issue of Intermediate students suicides or on the New  Municipal Act

Mr. Murlidhar Rao further said that in coming days lot of people from many political parties at all levels will join the BJP

On a question about Kumaraswamy leveling allegations that in coming days there will be more poaching Mr. Murlidhar Rao said that they did not need Siddaramiah or Kumaraswamy’s support and that they can run the Government on its own. It will have its own full  majority and full Cabinet will be formed  

He also assured that in coming days the dynamic corruption in TRS will be exposed.
