Hyderabad: CPI national secretary Dr K. Narayana on Friday said the BJP would lose deposits in the upcoming Parliament elections in the two Telugu-speaking States.
Addressing activists of Andhra Pradesh Special Status Sadhana Samithi at Jantar Mantar in New today, Narayana said the BJP had cheated the people of the AP by promising them special category status and retracting on its promise after coming into power. He also alleged that the Centre had also cheated the people of the State by not implementing promises made in AP Reorganisation Act. CPM leaders Sitaram Yechuri, BV Raghavulu and others also took part in the agitation program.
