Hyderabad: Bottle Cap Challenge, a daring skillful act of opening a bottle cap through the targeted movement of the foot made famous by Hollywood action hero Jason Statham, has arrived in Hyderabad.
While numerous youngsters in the city have been attempting to open the bottle caps with their daring attempts, Telugu film sensation Kartikeya Gummakonda has already achieved the feat sending his fans in frenzy.
Just a year old challenge done with facility by the mixed martial art artist Statham who has featured in big banner Hollywood movies alongside heroes such as Sylvester Stallone and Dwayne Johnson has caught the imagination of young and old alike.
Spreading like wildlife all around the globe the action touched thresholds of Bollywood where Akshay Kumar, Sidharth Malhotra, Tiger Shroff, Vidyut Jamwal, Gurmeet Choudhary and Govinda demonstrated their mastery over Bottle Cap with as much ease as if driving a knife through a butter brick. Tiger has gone a step ahead and blindfolded himself before making the successful attempt. Topping the Hollywood list is a celebrity mother and her two daughters—Sushmita Sen and her two daughters—, Renee and Alisha. Renee is 18 years old while Alisha is only eight.
Now it is the turn of Hyderabad, the headquarters of Telugu cinema. The clip of Hyderabad based action hero Kartikey Gummakonda has also gone viral.
The Bottle Cap Challenge fans believe that there could be more film and sports personalities who might have attempted this feat. But it is Kartikey’s act in Hyderabad that has caught the public eye.
The 25-year-old Kartikey’s most popular movie till this date is RX 100. He has also featured in Hippi and Guna 369.
