Srinagar: A Border Security Force (BSF) trooper on Monday allegedly shot himself dead in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
Police sources said the BSF trooper identified as Ravinder Kumar shot himself with his service rifle in Handwara area of Kupwara district.
“He was immediately shifted to hospital where doctors said he was dead on arrival. A case has been registered in this incident and investigation started,” police sources said.
