Burqa-clad Gunja ‘followed by Modi’ caught in Shaheen Bagh

New Delhi: A right-wing activist Gunja Kapoor, proudly followed by PM Modi on Twitter has been caught by the anti-Citizenship Law protesters at Shaheen Bagh on Wednesday.

Gunja Kapoor also hosts a youtube channel ‘Right Narrative‘. Kapoor had on January 1, thanked PM Modi for following her on twitter. She tweeted:

Gunja detained

Gunja Kapoor was later detained by the Delhi police.

The video has been shared by the Dhruv Rathee, a well-known YouTuber and an activist who shares his views on contemporary social and political issues of India. Rathee trolled the BJP following its statement over the Shaheen Bagh shooting incident which took place on Saturday.

While it is still unclear as to why Kapoor opted for a Muslim dress but many people in the last two months have worn ‘burqa’ to show solidarity with the anti-CAA protestors and were hailed for their efforts towards secularism.
