Guwahati: The demand to take back the Citizens’ Amendment Bill is gathering momentum.
Old Students’ Union and the Students’ Union of Cotton University, Guwahati have decided not to allow the entry of any RSS or BJP activist on to the campus of the two universities in Assam.
Mr. Rahul Bordoloi, General Secretary of Cotton University while addressing a press conference on Monday disclosed it in Guwahati.
He also requested the MLA’s and MP’s of Assam and North Eastern States to take stern action against this controversial bill. The students’ union decided to register its protest on 5th December against amending the Citizenship Act of 1955 by staging dharna.
