Cartridge found in the backbone of young girl

Hyderabad:  The doctors at NIMS got wonderstruck when they extracted a cartridge from the backbone of a young girl when she was operated upon.

Panjagutta police registered a case under attempt to murder and Arms Act.

According to the details, Ms. Asma Begum (16) resident of Falaknuma was admitted into NIMS for the treatment of her pain in backbone. After taking X-ray, the doctors decided to perform surgical operation.

When the doctors performed surgical operation, they were wonderstruck when they found a stained cartridge in her backbone.

Dr. Saba Fatima of NIMS informed the police, Panjagutta which registered a case.

It is reported that Ms. Asma Begum had this cartridge in her body for the past two years.

Mr. D. Nagaraju, Inspector of Panjagutta police registered a case and started investigation.

Police officers are perplexed since the girl refused to divulge information about the cartridge. NIMS sources indicated that Asma Begum was discharged from the hospital on 22nd December.
