CBSE class 12 results: Meet Sana who scored 97.6 percent

New Delhi: Sana, the daughter of a cook at a restaurant scored 97.6% marks in CBSE class 12 results.

According to the report published in Hindustan Times, the 17-year-old girl from Sarvodaya Kanya Vidyalaya-2, Jama Masjid scored 100 marks in history.

On Friday, Delhi Education Minister Manish Sisodia spoke to Sana to congratulate her.

Sharing her thoughts which she got when she heard about the minister’s phone call, Sana said, “I thought that it is prank call until I listen to the voice of the minister”.

Talking about her school days, Sana said that her neighbours had advised her to switch to a private institution. However, she did not pay heed to their suggestions.

Sana said that she want to prepare for Civil Service Examination after pursuing BA (Honours) in Political Science.

It may be noted that her father, Niazuddin is a cook at the Walled City’s iconic Al Jawahar restaurant.
