CBSE files FIR against paper leak rumours, videos

New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has lodged an FIR against miscreants spreading rumours regarding paper leak and availability of question papers prior to examinations this Wednesday.

The Board in its press note released earlier today instructed it’s students and parents to be aware of this fake news regarding the paper leak, availability of question papers prior to the examinations circulating on various social media platforms including social media, TOI reports.

The Board also said it has also come across numerous YouTube uploads which falsely claimed to have access to the original question papers of subjects in which examinations are yet to be conducted such as – Accountancy, Chemistry, Geography Class XII, English, Mathematics and Science of Class X.

The Board has also requested the Delhi Police to take strict action against miscreants spreading, circulating fake news against the Board.

The CBSE board examination began on February 15, 2019 and the Board has so far conducted examinations in 136 subjects successfully.
