Centre, Delhi government should join hands on law, order: Kejriwal

New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday said the Central and Delhi governments must work together to improve the law and order situation here.

Kejriwal’s remarks came a day after he said the national capital is witnessing a “dangerous spurt in serious crimes”.

Speaking to the media, Kejriwal said keeping politics at bay, all the agencies, governments and the residents of Delhi need to work together.

“We need to work together to improve the law and order situation in the city. We will fully cooperate with the Central government from our side.”

He also said that the Delhi government has started installation of CCTV cameras in Delhi on a large scale.

“This will help a lot in controlling crime in the capital. We will get the feed of any crime taking place in the city. It will help in taking necessary steps immediately.”
